We booked this hotel well in advance of our stay in July 2022 and therefore secured a very reasonable price compared to other hotels. It is a 3 star hotel. Next door is a 4 star as it has a pool. Location is very good. 10 min walk from beach and 1km from Italy. Menton Garavan station is 0.4 of a mile away. Handy for train to Nice airport. On arrival the Air Conditioning at reception was very welcome. Our room upon first impressions was tiny. Having said that and upon reflection it was of a very good decorative standard. A safe was available as was a mini bar (useful to chill own water bottles). Bed very comfortable and air conditioning available which we used all the time. Bathroom had a walk in shower, toilet, sink and bidet and again of a high standard. Toiletries were provided and rooms cleaned daily and towels swapped the left on floor as requested. An electric shut out blind was useful to the patio that led out to our extremely large balcony that has a table and 2 chairs. Not sure every room had a balcony. We were room 201. To be honest after a day or two the size of the room didn't matter. We only slept there. A TV was available. The only English speaking channel was CNN and German Eurosport was available to. Now the issue I had: Menton is on the coast and surrounded by mountains so when we were told Wifi was available I was pleased. However this only worked every now and again. Not really reliable and no way to tell when it would work or not. I spoke to reception about this and was told to use another wifi name. I did but same situation. I do not hold the hotel responsible for this. However, it would not have been a frustration except that I couldn't get a phone signal either. Again not the hotels fault. Bit if Wifi/4G is important to your stay you have been warned. A very nice stay in a very clean hotel.

Best part is the free parking outside. The entire street seems to be free, acc to the hotel. We spent one night and enjoyed it. Breakfast is cheap but adequate. The view of the sea view room is obstructed by a tree!!! We nearly asked for a refund. But it was OK for one night.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights, having come in by train from the West. The location of the hotel is just unbeatable, including their own lovely fine-sand swimming beach and bar just across the seaside street. The many sights of beautiful Menton are within a brisk walking distance, and one can pull the suitcase on rollers to the SNCF railway station uptown (walking through the pedestrian trail of the mountain tunnel) in 25-30 minutes. Our room was very good indeed and had a truly spectacular own sea-view balcony great for preparing to dinner after a busy day on sightseeing and swimming. The only downside to the hotel (that keeps us from giving full score of 5/5) were the morning busy issues of the single staff member to attend both the counter and replenish breakfast items & coffee machine at the same time.

Bed & breakfast ottimo. La proprietaria Caterina molto disponibile, una persona piacevole. Tutto molto pulito, arredato davvero bene. Cucina comune alle stanze, dotata di tutto (bollitore e macchinetta caffè compresi). Parcheggio interno alla struttura. Ci ritorneremo. 5 stelle. Family Ruggieri.
